It’s almost officially holiday time! If you love Christmas lights as much as we do, you’re probably looking forward to seeing some beautiful displays this year! Whether you’re visiting somewhere local or need to take a short road trip, there are festive lights all over the state of Arkansas. Check out some of our favorite attractions!
Holiday Lights at Garvan Gardens
One of the most popular outdoor light displays in Arkansas is hands-down the Holiday Lights at Garvan Gardens in Hot Springs. The gardens come alive with over 4 million colorful Christmas lights, including a tree with an animated light show and several traditional holiday scenes throughout the area. You can enjoy the lights until December 31st from 4 to 9 p.m. each night, although the gardens are closed on Christmas.
Holiday Trail of Lights in Sherwood
From December 2nd to December 30th, you and your loved ones can experience Sherwood’s Enchanted Forest Trail of Lights at the Sherwood Sports Complex from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each night! Drive through a mile-long trail of dazzling holiday lights and get in the Christmas spirit! Play your favorite festive tunes while you’re at it! The trail is free, but donations of non-perishable food items are greatly appreciated.
Arkansas State Capitol
The annual Christmas lighting ceremony takes place on December 7th at the Arkansas State Capitol! After the Big Jingle Jubilee Holiday Parade, the Capitol will be set aglow with over 100,000 festive lights! Don’t miss the beautiful fireworks show after the lighting ceremony around 6 p.m., and make sure the whole family can tag along for this one.Are you in need of auto glass or residential glass?
