Did you know we have an office located in northwest Arkansas? Located in the heart of Springdale at 1324 W. Sunset, our team of experts at Discount Auto Glass are here to meet your auto glass needs. And whether you’re already in the area or you’re driving our way soon, we’ve put together a short list of our favorite things to do in the area:
Springdale Farmer’s Market - For nearly 20 years, this open market for locally-grown and made produce and health products happens every May through October. It’s located on East Emma Avenue near the Jones Center, just off Highway 265.
The Jones Center - While in town, purchase an inexpensive day-use pass and enjoy everything from an ice-skating rink and two swimming pools to a full gymnasium and fitness center. You can also host parties in rooms available to rent. It’s open year round!
Arvest Ballpark - Located on south 56th Street in Lowell, Arvest Ballpark includes more than 130 games stretching from early April into Labor Day weekend.
Botanical Garden of the Ozarks - While the butterfly house definitely steals the show, especially when the outdoor weather isn’t cooperating, there are a dozen themed gardens full of varieties of plants, trees and wildflowers, both native and non-native species. It’s located on North Crossover.
Parsons Stadium - Host of Rodeo of the Ozarks, you can also catch Ozark Demolition Derby here (those are some windshields that might need fixed!) - and it's the official campground for Bikes, Blues & BBQ.
Ozark Climbing Gym - On East Robinson Avenue, you’ll find a climbing area here just for you, regardless of your fitness level. The best part about the indoor “bouldering” gym is that it’s relatively inexpensive, great exercise and one of the best activities rain or shine!
Crystal Bridges Museum - Admission here is always free, and collections rotate on a regular basis. You’ll find world-class American art, renowned architecture and 120 acres of Ozark forest with five miles of trails. The food is also great! You can always check their blog to plan your trip.
